REG Project 5 |

| After being formally recognized for excellence with their
Multi-Platinum Award in 2007, REG Project has once again returned to
the studio with renewed drive and sense of purpose. REG 5 boasts an
eclectic selection of Ralph’s most recent and inspiring compositions;
each one radiating with a light of its own, interacting with the
listener’s thoughts, feelings, and frame of mind. As an album, REG 5 seeks to delve even deeper into the musical style that has become archetypal of both Ralph Khoury, and REG Project - a melodic and hypnotizing synthesis of pulsing contemporary dance-beats set against a soundscape inspired by the musicianship of the ancient orient. Listeners will also recognize modern reprises of two well-reputed oriental classics: Warda’s “Lawla Al Malama” (If there was no blame) and “Min Gheir Leh” (You don’t have to ask me why), written for Abdel Halim by the eminent composer and songwriter, Abdel Wahhab. For those already familiar with REG Project’s unique and unforgettable sound, REG 5 will be both a reminder of past journeys, and a premonition of what is to come. For the uninitiated, REG 5 will serve as a perfect introduction to the intricacies of music without borders - a hypersonic fusion of genres, with soul. |
